Sheetla Group

Clean Energy · India

Clean power, built across land, water and sun.

Sheetla Group develops and operates renewable generation across four Indian states — utility-scale solar, small hydro on Himalayan river systems, and compressed bio-gas. Every project is underwritten on the numbers before it is built.

Years of legacy

Every megawatt is contracted, financed, and engineered to run for decades.

Portfolio

Three technologies, four states.

A clean-energy portfolio moving from construction into a growing development pipeline.

Solar
10 MWNear Raipur, ChhattisgarhLong-term PPA

A 10 MW ground-mounted solar plant near Raipur, contracted to the Chhattisgarh state distribution utility under a long-term power-purchase agreement — revenue secured for the life of the asset. Now under construction, moving toward commissioning.

Hydro
Arunachal Pradesh & Himachal PradeshRun-of-river · high head

Run-of-river small-hydro on Himalayan river systems, developed with state agencies and local partners. High-head sites are selected for firm, long-life generation — hydro assets that run for decades.

Bio-CNG
Madhya Pradesh & ChhattisgarhCompressed bio-gas

Compressed bio-gas capacity under evaluation across the biomass-rich belt of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh — turning agricultural residue into clean grid- and transport-grade fuel.

Approach

Built like infrastructure, not bets.

Underwritten on the numbers

No project advances until it clears strict thresholds for debt coverage and equity return. Discipline before capital.

Revenue secured

Generation is sold under long-term power-purchase agreements — cash flows visible for the full life of each asset.

Built to last

Solar, hydro and bio-gas, selected and engineered to operate reliably for decades — not for a quick exit.

The Group

Sheetla Group is a family-held enterprise building a clean-energy portfolio across India.

The name comes from Sheetla Mata, the family's deity — a name that itself means cool and calm, sheetal. It carries four decades of institutional presence in Haryana that began with the Sheetla Education Society.

Today the group's work is generation. It develops and operates solar, small-hydro and bio-gas assets through dedicated project companies, underwriting each against strict thresholds for coverage and return before a rupee of capital is committed.

The approach is deliberate, not fast: projects advance only where the numbers, the site and the offtake hold together.
